It is still disheartening to hear that mining companies are still spreading their distruction on the Philippines and other affected countries. If only our governments would realize the impacts on not only the working class people and not only see the bottom line profits made from jewels, gold and other minerals. If the governments were ready to face the costs occurred in the aftermath effects of poor health, devastated land and repeated crop failures or lack thereof; and not see profit in lights, we would certainly have a social justice system that would be fairer and equitable
