  2. Hi Josianne

It will be interesting to experiment with this blog to see if this actually helps us with our communication.

Blogs are usually not the best way to encourage communication between members. The blog is secure but not rather static.

I would suggest a National Facebook page with a link to the current Twitter account that we have.

Pages are easy to use and encourage membership. People can see your comments immediately. If there is something written that is inappropriate, the moderator can block the sender.

It is also easy to post pictures. Documents could be put on the blog so that people using Facebook and Twitter could access this material.

there are other social media sites, but these are the main two.

Also, there needs to be a direct link on the web site to Twitter, Facebook and this blog.

Thanks for putting this blog up - great to see!

  3. I know a blog is not hard to access, but it is not the most interactive means of communication available. This is a good start, but it is only a start.

  4. We must all learn and accept that more and more of this communication is becoming common. With the fear of further funding constraints, we must learn of different methods to work together and share our ideas , strengths, ideas and solutions. This is a fantastic tool for the future !
